It was the last day to see the majority of the Christmas decorations up around the resort

Everything on Main Street from Carnation Cafe to Refreshment Corner is now closed for refurbishment and walled off

January 8th was the last day to ride Haunted Mansion Holiday. It's currently closed for the transfer back to the original version of the attraction

It was my first time on Pirates of the Caribbean since it re-opened from the 3 month-long refurbishment

Davy Jones and Blackbeard now alternate with one and other on the mist screen in Pirates of the Caribbean. See the change in this HD video

The dock has been widened and reconfigured to better handle wheelchairs. I must say it's a welcomed improvement when you try to get out of the attraction

From January 6th to the 8th, Disney held a celebration of Three Kings Day in Frontierland's Zocalo Park

Last Sunday was also the last day to ride the Matterhorn Bobsleds before it closed for a huge refurbishment that has engulfed the mountain in scaffolding. It's currently scheduled to re-open on June 15th with all new ride vehicles
