Photo Report: January 10th, 2012 - A Quick Disneyland Resort Update
- 1-18-2012

Please enjoy our latest item, a quick photo report from January 4th-9th, 2012:

The Disneyland Park map is once again advertising Star Tours: The Adventures Continue now that the holiday season is over

I think those wait times are pretty manageable ;)

Tarps are up all around the Adventureland entrance sign creating a very weird looking situation

The facade of The Haunted Mansion is back to normal as the holiday overlay is removed. The attraction is currently scheduled to re-open on Tuesday January 24th

On January 10th, the Matterhorn was only a couple of days into its refurbishment, so the masses of scaffolding had yet to engulf the mountain

You can see some was set up however

Over at Disney California Adventure, work continues on the new facades for the Shops of the Boardwalk

A boat out on Paradise Bay, likely to inspect some of the World of Color equipment

With every passing day, the Cars Land mountain range looks more and more impressive!

I'm also quite impressed with how they've handled the backside of the mountain range, which is very visible from Paradise Pier

In this photo, you can make out the five cones of the Cozy Cone Motel

Taking a ground-level look down the main street of Radiator Springs. New is the sign for Flo's V8 Cafe

In this photo, you can make out some of the Mater's Junkyard Jamboree ride vehicles

You can now meet Lightning McQueen and Mater by Grizzly Peak along the Performance Corridor. This is temporary of course, until Cars Land opens

The Carthay Circle Theater is now virtually tarp-free, and pretty gorgeous if I do say so myself!

As with Disneyland, the DCA map is now back to normal, advertising The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure
Thanks for viewing this photo report!

Thanks for the update! Your regular updates are really helpful to see what is going on in the parks as I live so far away from them. :)
Love these photo reports. Can't wait til my next trip in April -- Utah is just too far away for frequent trips. wondering if Kodak will stop sponsorship of park maps now that they have filed for bankruptcy?
