Please enjoy our latest item, a photo report from February 10th, 2012:

A new line of very female ear hats

A look inside the Disneyana Store with its new wallpaper

Work continues on expanding the Carnation Cafe into the old Blue Ribbon Bakery

Everything else from Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor to Coca-Cola Refreshment Corner is closed

Scaffolding continues to engulf the Matterhorn

Now let's take a look around Disneyland's special celebration of Mardi Gras, the New Orleans Bayou Bash!

Banners line along the Rivers of America

The stage for the two bands/shows that perform throughout the day: New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band and Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras Celebration

Close-up of the performance times for the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band

The buildings of New Orleans Square are decorated for Mardi Gras

You can meet Tiana and Naveen over at the Court of Angels

Some photos from a performance of the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band

The performers from Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras Celebration are also in this show

Goofy!

This guy slightly creeps me out...

Close-ups of some of the props next to the stage

Some vendors have set up shop between the French Market and The Haunted Mansion, like Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen

You can also get your face painted

Even the ODV carts have special decor for the event

Special food too!

Speaking of special food, there's entirely new items available at most of the New Orleans Square restaurants

Here's what you can get at the French Market

Love this shot!

Now for some photos from a performance of Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras Celebration

This version of the show (which debuted last year) features the soundtrack from 2009's Tiana's Showboat Jubilee, just without the added element of the Mark Twain

And with that, that completes our look at the wonderful New Orleans Bayou Bash

Some cool new shirts available. I especially love this one

Heading over to Disney California Adventure, you can see the Carthay Circle Theater and a new Buena Vista Street facade poking into the skyline

And now we're inside the park for a close-up of the theater

The windows were recently installed

Now for a look into Cars Land. The facade on the side of the old farm building has progressed

Street lamps line the main street

The sign for the Cozy Cone Motel was installed last week

The rock-work still impresses me. Can't wait to see it up close!

The refurbishment of Grizzly River Run continues

All of the water in the flume has been emptied

Thanks for viewing this photo report!

Thanks for the update! :)
Great report!
Is teh Cozy Cone Motel going to be a place to stay, or is it a restaurant, or some other attraction? It would be so cool to be able to stay there, but I assume it's more likely to be a restaurant. Thank you!
The Cozy Cone Motel will be a restaurant. The middle cone will be the counter. I presume you'll be able to sit down and eat inside the others.
I was at Disneyland on Feb 10th too. Hadn't been there in three years. I checked to see if you got me in one of your photos. Didn't see me. You did a good job covering the park and current situations. Now that I live 700 miles from Anaheim I miss the park. Not sure if, 'the park' is current lingo. When I was little back in the early 60's my dad was a ride operator and took us kids to Disneyland on several days during the summer. We got in free. He would take us to Tom Sawyers Island and would tell the raft operator to keep us on the island until his shift was over in fantasyland. Disneyland was always refered to as, 'The Park'. I don't think that works anymore. Sure enjoy this Disneyland site.
